The people contributing to the success of Sam's Giardino belong to different African tribes and other ethnic groups who represent Namibia's cultures and their diversity. Working conditions applicable to the entire staff compliment:

The Giardino Team - Overview
The people contributing to the success of our hotel represent various African tribes and other ethnic groups who make up Namibia's cultures:  Loide, Tileni and Edla all helped to prepare for the hotel opening in 1999; they were unskilled but are now holding certificates in Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and First Aid. Loide also obtained a diploma in Hotel Administration.

Lukas and Secilia
joint our team in 2001 and 2002 respectively, Lukas as gardener/ handyman and Secilia in guest services; both successfully passed in-house training courses within a year of their employment date. Lydia, Josefine, Tilensia and Constancia
came on board between the middle of 2004 and early 2005 as juniors in guest services; after ongoing in-house training they did well in our annual performance appraisals in November 2005.
Sybille takes care of reception and personnel since 1998 and also stands in for the boss,
Sam, who holds a Swiss diploma in hotel management and has got more than 20 years of experiences in his profession. Both are German speaking, Sam also speaks French.

 and Einstein, our successful four-legged PR Manager and Sam's faithful companion
All our staff is fluent in English and other local languages ... Einstein and Ornella however speak the global language "Wuff-Wuff", and Einstein is also fluent in at least one Swiss dialect while Ornella recognises the word "food" in every language.
